Ways and Means Committee
Purpose: This committee was formed to raise money for our church and to host enjoyable events that bring our congregation and their families together for fellowship and fun.
- This committee is comprised of members of Central Board and from the Congregation.
- Since the committee’s inception in 1992, over $80,000 has been raised.
- Our largest events are the semi-annual barbeques that occur in the Spring & Fall timeframes.
- The barbeques feature Prime Rib Roast Beef and Roast Pork with all the trimmings.
- The spring barbeque is accompanied with the Not-So-Quiet Silent Auction. It’s easy to get caught up in the action of the auction.
- The fall barbeque is accompanied with a Cribbage Tournament. This event brings out the spirit in all of us, the “competitive” spirit.
